INDIVIDUAL REFLECTIONS


1.      Aware of roles of the teachers as a curricularist, how do you percieve your role as curricularist?
  •        To be a curricularist someday, i will devote myself into curriculum understanding because        i believe that we should understand first what are the objectives of the curriculum. I                    percieve now my role as a curricularist to become the planner on what to do for the                    students, the source of knowledge for the learners and a lot of responsibilities to make for          the sake of the learners. 
2.      Some teachers in the K-12 Curriculum are not aware and prepared of the implementation of the           curriculum, which functions were not played considering that case? 

  • Some teachers are not aware of the implementation of the said curriculum, but most of the       teachers are aware of the K-12 curriculum. Based on my observation in our school, i noticed     that some teachers are using traditional teaching strategies such as using manila paper, books     to read only and etc. . They are also not using technology in their teaching process, and i think   the only one function of a curricularist that were not followed is being the implementor.

INDIVIDUAL RFLECTIONS  1. If you are to build a school, which curriculum are your priorities. Name three and explain why. I f I build my own school, I will focus or prioritized the Taught, written, and learned curriculum. Which is if I combined these three curriculum I predict what is the possible results of this because in taught curriculum the learner is not out from the topic because the teacher should have a good lesson plan to teach the lesson clearly. In Written curriculum this is the process which is need to be develop the concepts, knowledge, skill, attitude, and the actions of the students. If they developed this five essentials elements of written curriculum there's a possibility to learner to become excellent. Last is the Learned Curriculum. We all know that some of teachers used the traditional way of teaching. This curriculum there is a big help to the school because I believe to John Dewey, "Learning by doing" so this is the best way to the student...
